For anyone who thinks supplements are a waste of money, sit down and work out what you are getting of the recommended daily intake of the range of vitamins and minerals. Most people dont get enough magnesium or porassium. A lot of people, particularly vegos are not gerting enough taurine and glutamine. Most dont get enough thiamine.or boron. Manganese is not easy to get enough of, and is crucial in MnSOD the bodies first line of antioxidant in the energy producing mitochondria. For many people some of these deficiencies in intake dont matter as other compensatory systems in the body make up for it. Bur other factors - poor gut health, exposure to pollution, alcohol intake, genetics ie. the mthfr gene and sod2 gene switches I have mean deficiencies in intake have more impact.
