Making changes you can sustain is definitely the key to success, plus understanding that reducing ingredients such as sugar can be done by avoiding processed food for starters. I think people are sometimes put off by assuming that changes will need to be enormous - hour long workouts several times a week and mountains of fruit and vegetable each day. And if your diet has only entertained limited amounts of fruit and veg that's not going to be regarded as a pleasant lifestyle change. However, just making a few food swaps and incorporating 20 minutes of some form of exercise into your day will still reap benefits and I've found people are more inclined to stick with those changes.
