No subscription is nice. My Oura was free, but the subscription feels so pointless. The ring, as a whole, does, actually. It tells me it I slept poorly, which I know. Otherwise? Nothing useful. "You walked 8,250 steps yesterday, up from 7,900 the day before." That's worth $6 a month?

I’m still using Oura, and am looking for my next.  

Until smart rings are made out of something different/flexible, they can't be used with weight lifting (you could legitimately lose a finger lifting with rings) which is a big subsection of health that these trackers are missing out on.

Not having a sub is a big deal, I hope more follow suit.  Subscription fatigue is real
